Wanna know more about me?  You've come to the right place!  That's me at my wedding last year (June 18th to be exact).  My name is Malerie and I'm a 24 year old mother of one from Indiana.  I'm married to my best friend, Jay.  I'm a high school English teacher (I can hear the groans now...) and a Pinterest junkie.

Let me introduce you to my family:

Little Hayley.  My 6 year old princess.  This girl is a firecracker.  She is a typical 6 year old girl...one second she is as sweet as sugar and the next she's gone off the deep end and throwing a hissy fit.  But I love her in all those stages.  I had her when I was a senior in high school.  I'll probably post about that at some point...it's a doozie of a story!

The hubs.  Jay and I have known each other since kindergarten and began dating our freshman year of high school.  It's been a LONG, tough road but we made it and continue to build our relationship and learn from each other daily.  Jay's in the National Guard and also works for an independent electrician. He's a good daddy, a loving husband, and a golf-loving, beer-drinking, man's man.  :)

We have furry friends as well!  Jackson and Lillie are our two dogs.  They cause daily havoc around our household but we love them anyways.  Jackson is a Shi-Tzu/Yorkie and Lillie is a Boxer.  They are the best of friends!
